The key to a long lasting roof is proper attic ventilation.  If the extreme heat of Southwest Florida is not allowed to escape from your attic, the heat will build up and bake the shingles from underneath allowing the shingle's asphalt base to crack.  With the weather conditions and extreme heat of our environment, having good unrestricted airflow from your attic will increase the life of your roof as well as keep cooling costs down.
We include ventilation with every roofing project.  If you currently have ventilation, it will be replaced with a new vent.  If your roof is without ventilation, the proper vents will be installed.  With every shingle roof, there are two types of attic ventilation to choose from.  The first type of ventilation available is the shingle over vent system, which has a hard polypropylene baffled construction, allowing for maximum airflow.  The shingle over vent option has been field tested under all weather conditions to stand up harsh weather and it has no filter to clog giving you optimum performance.  This system will give your roof a consistent look throughout, setting your home apart from all others.  If your home construction will not allow for a shingle over vent system, we will install an off ridge vent system. The off ridge vent system is set slightly below the ridge of your roof and will be painted to match your shingle selection.
