Kelly Roofing is so very pleased to announce the winner of our first “Free Roof Giveaway”, Mr. & Mrs. Bill Kirkwood.

Naples City Mayor, Bill Barnett, and Fox News Anchor, Amy Wegmann judged all of our worthy entries. We are grateful for their efforts in selecting the best candidate.

Bill & Doreen Kirkwood’s entry was compelling for so many reasons. For the past four years, Bill had owned his own construction company; A hard workingman with many achievements. But in January 2006, Bill was diagnosed with a very rare and serious cancer. Doreen and Bill faced many struggles battling the cancer that had taken their business and way of life. Their home was in desperate need of a new roof after Hurricane Wilma, and Doreen had to begin working to salvage their home and pay the medical bills. It was during this time, she discovered Kelly Roofing’s Free Roof Giveaway. She nominated her husband, honoring this strong man and all his hard work. Sadly, during the deliberation process of the giveaway, Mr. Bill Kirkwood lost his ongoing battle with cancer.

It is truly wonderful for Kelly Roofing to gift upon Mrs. Doreen Kirkwood a safe, beautiful, durable, hurricane resistant Shingle roof. Kelly Roofing will be installing 40 year Elk Grande Shingles beginning July 12 th of this year. An interview with Mrs. Kirkwood and Fox News will be broadcast during the installation process.

Doreen Kirkwood is most deserving, and her new roof will endure as well and be as strong as she has been.
