The two pictures on the left represent the shingle over vent system that we install.  The baffled system allows heat to escape from attic more efficiently than the typical ridge vent which is illustrated in the picture on the right. You can clearly see the heat escaping through the vents in the first two pictures.  Virtually no heat is escaping through the ridge vent in the third picture.  The heat is forced to stay in the attic baking your shingles and heating your home unnecessarily.
