Once the rotted sheathing and fascia have been replaced, it is time to install one of the most critical parts of your roof, the underlayment.  With our system the standard underlayment is POLYSTICK TU Plus Self-Adhered Roofing and Waterproofing Underlayment.  A good underlayment is crucial, as it is the last line of defense in stopping water from entering your home. 
      POLYSTICK TU Plus is a homogeneous rubberized asphalt waterproofing membrane.  This membrane is glass fiber reinforced, with a high strength polyester fiber fabric on the upper surface.  This underlayment is specially formulated for ou environment, as it is made to withstand heat up to 260 degrees.  This special formula also allows the rubberized asphalt to seal around installed nailes preventing water from seeping in around the nail head.
      The POLYSTICK TU Plus membrane is manufactured using patented ADESO™ sefl-adhesive technology, whereby a true APP compound is applied on the top layer and an aggressive self-adhesive compound is applied on the bottom layer.  This compound causes the membrane to adhere quickly to your roof deck making sure the roof is completely waterproof.
