Once you meet with one our salesmen, and has measured your roof and checked all protrusions, he will send the measurements and a diagram of your roof to Duro-Last.  The roofing membrane will then be custom-made to fit your roof exactly.  This detailed process will take approximately five to seven days to complete before it is shipped to our office.  During the manufacturing process, your roof will be inspected and re-inspected several times before shipment.
The three-inch fastening tab is welded into the membrane sheet.  This fastening tab is where the membrane is mechanically-fastened to the deck.
Five-foot roll goods are cut to the exact dimensions that were submitted by the Kelly Roofing sales team.  Having a minimum of seams on your roof limits the areas where leaks can occur.
To ensure quality at the onset, this calendar machine distributes film evenly.
Knitting machines knit a polyester weft-inserted scrim.  This material scrim holds the material together by constricting and tightening if stress is put on the material.
The laminating machine then bonds together the top and bottom layer of the film with the weft-inserted scrim.
Quality control is a priority for Duro-Last. In this picture a laminator in-line inspection is taking place.  The quality control personnel looks for any imperfections that show up during he lamination process.
Once the lamination process is complete, the rolls of material are re-inspected.  This re-inspection makes sure that the Duro-Last membrane is of the highest quality.
Floor inspectors inspect every factory seam of the Duro-Last roofing system before it leaves the manufacturing facility.
Custom-made accessories such as boots, stacks, and drains are created to the specifications of your roof.  Once these protrusions are finished, your roof is ready to be packed and shipped.
