RT3 is an organization of forward-thinking roofing professionals dedicated to expanding technology within the roofing industry. They provide roofers and other contractors with a curated collection of technological tools and apps to address urgent issues. Each year, RT3 presents the Innovator of the Year Award to a roofing contractor who goes above and beyond in using technology to advance the roofing industry. Recipients are judged on the four criteria of innovation, results, design, and strategy.
Ken Kelly was presented with the RT3 Innovator of the Year Award during the 2021 Best of Success Conference. He was selected due to his use of technology to automate various processes within his company, Kelly Roofing. By automating, largely through the use of Microsoft Dynamics, Ken was able to double the size of his business and streamline his employees’ processes. Ken has shared his experience with automation at several RT3 events with the goal of helping other contractors follow a similar path.
